[Charles would be lying if he said he didn't love moments like this. Even
the sweet kiss that ended far too soon for his liking. He just enjoyed
seeing Logan in this light, softened and sweet and really all for him.
He doubted there was anyone else who would be allowed to see this side of
the man and he relished in that knowledge.
But the kiss ended and then he was speaking again, telling him to go on so
he squeezed back and reluctantly turned his chair to head to the meeting.]
You had better. Get extra. I have a feeling we might need our strength
tonight.
[ Ask him when he started to think calling Charles Xavier any form of "baby" was acceptable and Logan wouldn't be able to pin a date down. All he knows is that saying it makes him grin, and he watches Charles go with a fond expression before going to do as he's told.
Parents' Night isn't necessarily a thing Charles does alone. Once Logan's ordered the food and given the arrival time, he disappears to deliver his presentation for what the kids have learned in history class. Fortunately, this doesn't go too roughly, but meetings tend not to swing too out of his favour (he thinks it's because of how intimidating he looks, and for once, he's thankful for it).
He escorts the parents out of the school with Cyclops by the time it's over, but stays at the front door to wait for the food delivery.
Later, he's going to find Charles in his room with three bags of takeout. ]
[Oh he certainly enjoyed it when Logan used a pet name, but he especially
liked it when he heard the word 'baby' fall from the man's lips. He smiled
softly, chuckling to himself and thinking only of how things would go later
that night.
When all the parents had finally left the school and he'd made sure all the
younger students were in bed, he went to his room. He smiled when he
spotted Logan, laughing softly at the amount of food he'd gotten.]
I did indeed. As I said, we will need to keep up our strength.

[Charles couldn't help the soft chuckle and the way the color rose on his cheeks at the comment.
His head shook slightly and he ducked, looking down and slowly shifting in the seat.]
Well, it is dinner so yes I suppose there would be wine.
[He rolled over closer, reaching out and taking Logan's hand slowly before squeezing it.]
So does that mean you will join me?

You don't even have to ask.
[ At this proximity, it was far too easy to lean in and kiss Charles on the mouth.
So that was just what Logan did, innocent and chaste and ending way too soon after it even started. ]
You're gonna be great. [ One more squeeze, and then Logan stood and let their hands slip apart. ] Now go. You don't wanna be late.
I promise I'll get the good takeout.
