So embarrassing. [ But for all this "calling Steve out" nonsense, Logan's just as bad. ]

What are you embarrassed about?

[ Hes teasing. The question is his way of saying that he isn’t embarrassed of wanting him to himself for the weekend. ]

Yeah, I’m sure. They can handle themselves, and if they need anything they know how to get a hold of me.

Besides, I think they’d agree I need this. Apparently Romanoff can tell when we haven’t seen each other in a while.

Mostly the fact my boyfriend's so corny he has a tell when he misses me.

[ Logan doesn't often use the term "boyfriend". Doesn't even say "lover". "My captain" tends to work.

But he thinks of Natasha Romanoff's half-smirk watching this disaster of a man with mild separation anxiety and boyfriend just seems right. ]

[ It’s too bad that Jimmy can’t see the way that Steve’s heart does a funny thing when he reads the ‘boyfriend’ part and he can swear it melted right on the spot. His face breaks into a grin that is impossible to hide as he stares at the phone for a moment before typing. ]

Apparently I get ... very impatient. She used the terms cranky and annoying, but I think impatient is better.
